I'm from India and i cant afford to buy a digi cam from here! The price is too high here...

for eg: The camera i have right now is Olympus Camedia D390 which is 2MP. This costs $129 in amazon.com but when i bought it one month or one month and a half ago.. it cost me $229.16
Thats for a 2MP camera!

I'm planning to buy a digital camera from outside INDIA. I'm not sure of any legitimate sites from where i could buy new cameras at the lowest possible price. The problem with amazon is that they wont ship it to INDIA..

I need some options folks... :((

Check out pricegrabber.com, then see if the individual stores will ship to India.

(BTW, that rather blunt political statement you make in your signature might limit the number of positive responses you get here - just an observation)

The very cheapest stores are often rip-offs who try to sell high-priced accessories, and hold your main purchase hostage until you say yes. Here are some that I've found reliable and competitively priced, but I don't know who might ship to India:

B&H Photo-Video
Adorama
J&R Music World
17th Street Photo

Good Luck!
