Ok, I'm in 4th right now... WOW, and UCLA just took a 7 point lead in 3 minutes into the second half. Good thing no one above me picked UCLA. At least I don't think any one else did. Ok so... we all know Florida is going to win it all. That is enought to put me in at least second. But if Georgetown beats UNC tomorrow as well. I should win it all. Hey what is the prize? A ribbon? That may be the only way I get one.
GO GATORS!

They will never make it past Georgetown and if they luck out and do then it will be the Bowl game all over. Gators will whoop that ass.

UF vs OSU
Football UF wins by 27
Basketball UF wins by 26
Do you think they want to see UF again this year? or any time soon... in any sport...

Oregon will beat the Gators by a margin of atleast 5... watch and see. Everyone contiues to underestimate them... They will keep shooting as well as they have and stretch the floor playing their up tempo style of ball. You can't guard 5 UO players who can all shoot the three. You just can't. I went to school with Luenen on UO, he will surprise many and have another great all around game against Florida's big men. If the Gators big men don't come out to guard him he will knock down the three, if they do Brooks will have all the room he wants to drive the ball inside and create. Watch out for Brooks and Porter, they can put up big numbers in a hurry! Sorry Florida, no repeat this year. |

Blah, blah, blah... Don't know if you watched the Butler game, but their big men were knocking down 3s on us early. A few adjustments... we put an end to that. (I say "we" like I'm on the team.) And a fast paced game is what Florida loves. Butler and Purdue slowed the game down so that was more of a challenge for the Gators. But try and run them, they will run them out of the arena. And it's hard to shoot 3s when you are worn out from taking a beating in the paint, and have a black eye from a 6'10 elbow. But we will see tomorrow...
Go Gators!

lol no team in the nation shoots the three like the ducks, unlv held the two teams they faced before below 30% for those games, well....everyone saw how much that slowed Oregon down on the three... |

Yep, can't wait.
We and the football team got way overconfident in football this year and having a month off before the bowl game with everyone telling you how awesome you are and how fla. didn't have a chance sure set us up for a piss poor game.
We should be and are embarrassed.
And your returning champion b-ball team full of experience smoked us for sure early in the season on your home court against our inexperienced squad without our big man.
Like I said, can't wait for a rematch.
Hope to see UNC as well so no one can say "yeah but you got beat by fill in the blank."
I can safely say that uf is more hated than michigan 'round these parts. At least we have respect for the team up north.
Bring it on! ;)

Great post... but your big man did play... Well he was on the floor during the game...
"Horford, cleared to play after a morning shootaround, dominated his matchup with talented 7-foot freshman Greg Oden.
Oden was in foul trouble much of the game and finished with seven points and six rebounds."
But I'm going to keep my mouth shut until after this Oregon game...
Go Gators!

Sunshine, did you mean to say the Ducks would lead by at least 5 at some point during the game? So... Porter? We did not have to cut the nets down, we shot them down.
Go Gators...

Ahh yes, that was my excuse for the loss to UNC ;)
Hope to see a rematch, I think it would be a much better game the second go round regardless of who you're pulling for. |

Oregon lost :(
Oh well-not their year. They did not play their game from the point in the first half Luenen went out early with 2 fouls. I was surprised to see them play the inside as well as they did however. Florida's big men were a non factor-as were Oregon's, came down to a shooting night for the guards and Florida was hitting their shots from deep and only Brooks was hitting for Oregon. Porter is a great player but I think the Oregon coach made a big mistake. Almost all shooters are streaky...Porter was not on from the get go and was a mismatch on D. He should not have seen as much time as he did.
Also, anybody else a little bothered by the officiating? I am not talking this game alone, alot of the other games have been better examples...There is ALOT of knick-knack fouls being called. Let them play the game, it takes away from the excitement of the game when all the stars on the teams are sitting on the bench because of a accidental bump that had no impact on the play (just an example). |

Scenarios in the DPC MM contest:
Buzzrock wins if Florida Wins.
Wade wins if Ohio State wins.
