I have been out to play in the local woods, and I know I am going to love this lens. Here are two of the photos I took - the wren may be a bit blurry, but not suprising at 1/30th hand-held! Nonetheless, I am really pleased to have got a semi-usable photo, as it was early dusk, and these birds are tiny, and move very fast, even when they are on the ground feeding.
 
I am going on holiday tomorrow, for four days to Robin Hood's Bay, a little fishing village on the Yorkshire coast, and so hopefully I will get to grips with the lens then. I shall report back on my return! |
