| Greetings from Alaska to you Ahaze! Do not ever think that your photos are not good enough for anything. Just leap and enter. You learn by lessons and this site has some of the best lessons and teachers and students that I have found yet. The site keeps your mind and your camera working, and the comments are all very nicely stated and helpful.I am impressed with your work and ability to capture the essence of your surroundings. This is exactly what I felt before coming here to take part of challenges, but after Book Titles, I feel now that I am not that lost as I thought first. ;-) So come on, it's time to see some great shots from you! :-) I am sure after seeing your photos that you will get really good scores! So don't be afraid, the first step is hard but then... nobody will be able to stop you! :-)

Thanks all for the encouragement and kind words! Already just by browsing the previous contests I got an idea for my "14 Words" assignment (mentioned in another thread). I will definitely enter the contests- at some point. Great way to stretch my creativity!
Oh, and Pedro, thanks! I'm pretty in love with my camera. I can't imagine why everyone doesn't use one! :-)
