I operate an in home daycare, and took some photos of the rice cereal sensory activity we did yesterday. Let me know what you think!

Those were good! The cereal really added some great color for these pics. It looks like the kids thoroughly enjoyed this!

Very cute photos! Looks like they had a blast. If you don't mind me asking, do any of these children have SID, or is it just a fun activity for them? |

Sorry to get back to you so late. SID is an acronym for Sensory Integration Dysfunction. Basically, it's an overstimulation of the senses, especially (but not limited to) touch. It is a disorder on it's own, or can be part of a larger disorder like autism. My son was diagnosed with it when he was 1, which led way to LOTS of therapy much like the activity in your photo. Sorry to open up that whole can of worms in this thread, your photos are very nice though! Keep up the great work, both with photography and the kids. |

Oh!!! Ok! But, no, they don't have anything like that at all. Sensory activities are merely meant to help enhance their fine motor skills and that sort of thing. Also, it's just a great excuse for a toddler to get really messy!! :) Thanks for all of the compliments guys!! |
