I want to ask those who teach workshops a flash question. I want to know what you assign students to demonstrate their knowledge of using a flash unit. Im looking for excercises that I can work on to further understand the many options of using a flash.

Ideally this would be working with something simple like an orange on a table and the assignments would be something like 1. Demonstrate fill light. 2. Demonstrate...etc.

I hope that my request is clear, let me know if you have no idea what I am talking about.
