I'd love to take credit for a stance like this, albeit, Ritz beat me to it. Damn. :-( |

It seems like my entry disappeared off the challenge and the face of the site itself(my portfolio) could I have been d'qd without any other notice- like a message or e-mail? or is it a vanquish the picture policy. Oh yeah, and my picture screamed propaganda- and I didn't agree with it one bit. That's right- I though of giving it a title that twisted it to show my opinion of how wrong the shot was- but I thought it would have more impact if I gave it a more fitting title. Aside from hateful language and depictions, which my photo wass not, isn't art and the 1st amend. important?
I'm still pretty new here- and I don't have an expensive camera and I certainly don't purport to have photography skills- but I do have as much a sense of "art" as any photographer, I think, and I get lucky once in a great while.
Am I just railing on for nothing, did I delete the picture myself, or can the shot be erased without explanation. Forgive me if I've made an error and deleted it myself. sorry so vague. |

I've never yet heard of a submission being removed without warning, and would be somewhat surprised if it had been, unless you have yet to be notified for some reason.
I don;t think you could have deleted the submission by accident, unless you did so before the voting started. Once voting has started I think there is no way to remove your photo yourself even if you wanted to.

You have aroused my curiosity. Please, at the very least, post the picture to your potfolio after the voting is over so we can see it. |

I did have one comment on it and then puff.-.- vanished.... but perhaps the "hammer has not fallen yet" I feel like a schoolchild waiting to be punished. I will post it later. If I'm allowed too, seeing as how it i not in my portfolio anymore.

Hello! Voters! Go back and leave comments - AHHH!
It's my first challenge, I honestly feel I met the challenge, and I want to know why you're voting like you are. Good scores are great, but I want to know WHY I'm scoring fairly low. I want to know WHY! Eeek! I only have 5 comments... all are great, but I really would like someone who DIDN'T rate me well to comment.
And since I can't tell you which is mine...
*sigh*
Maybe I can get some post-contest commentary from you all. :) |

There are a couple of shots that look like family snapshots and the titles don't seem to help - if you know which 2 I'm talking about, maybe you can PM me and explain to me how they're propagandistic? |
