Hi guys, I tried searching the forums for this one, but the search keeps giving me errors.
I just found out how to do HDR with Photomatix, thanks to this excellent guide:
//www.vanilladays.com/hdr-guide/
I'd like to know how the rules stand to generating an HDR image using Tone Mapping from just one RAW file... very effective with a Fuji S3 Pro with it's wider dynamic range. I'm referring to the latest version which automatically generates an HDR image from one file without needing to split it into 3 seperate tiffs.
Can I use it for advanced challenges? Basic challenges?
BTW, I'm having a great time travelling around India... take a look at my Blog here if you're interested!

I found this thread:
//www.dpchallenge.com/forum.php?action=read&FORUM_THREAD_ID=513245
so I'm going to assume that HDR through tone mapping from one raw file is legal for both basic and advanced challenges unless told otherwise.
Cheers,

You assume correctly.
