| Do you ever consider the odds when choosing which contest to enter? i.e Red or Alt Medicine I have a good shot for each but I am torn between the two. What do you do? |

you'd have to fancy your chances are much, much better in a challenge with only 50. although, by rollover there may be over 100 due to late entries.
you'd also get many more views and votes in such a small challenge, compared to the ridiculous 600+ entries in the free study! :)

Of course in a bigger challenge like Red your % statistic has more of a chance of being better. It depends which stats you are keen on. Although if you've got a shot you think may ribbon then there is no choice is there?

Actually I would think your percentile finish would not be better either way. The variability of your possible finish would be higher in the smaller challenge, but it's just as possible it would be lower than it would be otherwise. |

Chances of making the top 50 in the Alternative Medicine has to be better though.

I've gone for Alternative Medicine, why i hear you scream......i think there will be too many in Red that will be the same, Traffic lights, Stop signs, Strawberry, Wine, Sunset, Sunrise, Roses, Flowers. i think these will make up the bulk of the shots, it will be interesting to vote in though. i might be very wrong on the above though,

| I was aware you can't enter two images in one challenge but I didn't realize you can't enter two images in two challenges at once (at least it sounds like that's what you're all saying). |

You have to pick between the two open challenges. If you become a member, then you can do one of the opens as well as any of the member challenges.
