Sorting through my mom's stuff I came across an envelope with my portrait from my first birthday (April, 1958).
Jotted on the envelope was the photographer's price list. Things have changed a bit since then, eh? :)

funny thing is that if i ordered my prints from MPIX i could still make some profit on some of those sizes:) |

Totally cool find.
I wonder if that photographer (or company) still exist. See if they'll still honor the prices lol.
In a similar note, a while back I was working on doing a historical display for a buildings 90th b-day and going through the papers and advertisements of that era were wild to see. One bank even listed it's assests and number of accounts being held. Pretty cool stuff. |

Searched, but can't find any mention of him.
On the history note, another of the neat finds in my mom's stuff was HER mother's household account book from the turn of the century, noting how much money she brought in with butter and eggs, which horse sold to whom, etc. Fascinating reading! |
