How about a reduction in sensor size ... to one pixel? |

In 2050 cameras will only be, in essence, the sensor chip. The sensor chip will be the inside surface of an emptied (hollow) hemisphere with a clear glass protective cover to allow light in. The half-ball-inside sensor surface will receive a complete reflection of the 180 degrees world view and records it.
In editing the user picks a center point, image ratio( portrait or landscape) , and coverage amount (zoom & crop) and the software corrects for the flat photo.
Oh, by the way I have patented this idea and it is protected by law. |

Sounds interesting... can't wait to see the prototype. Make sure to get the idea in the hands of the good guys (Canon) first :-D

how about a pair of glasses where eyemovement would operate something like a heads up display in a fighter--- crop zoom whatever you wanted bw the whole thing in a pair of classes blink to capture? |
