im in the process of building a flash site and my teacher gave me a copy of macromedia flash 8 and dont even know where to start?!
id love some help just to biuld a site with different sections showing my work and a info page |

Dustin, I can offer some help if needed. I teach Flash at a local university and recently helped  Makka with some backend scripting for his new site. He knows the program very well and has done an amazing job with his site.
Flash is a huge program and the learning curve is pretty big. I could also suggest a good book or two. In fact, I have several copies of the books I use to teach the subject. It is amazing how many books (sometimes multiple duplicates) the publishers send me. When I offer to return them, they tell me to just give them to students as they have surplus.
