Hi all,

I've been working on a website for the past few months but i'm not totally happy with the design and how it looks so i've come up with a new design in the last few days.

It would be really helpful if i could have your opinions on which one is better in terms of layout, so i know whether to continue with the new one or improve the old one. (i've temporarily embedded the new website into the old you will find some of the links etc will not work or will be going to the wrong place)

//www.dewdodesign.co.uk(old)
//www.dewdodesign.co.uk/new_index.html (new)

Thanks everyone :o)

I like the new design better. It looks more professional and classy. I don't care for the blue color background in the old site. I like the black one better. The new one also seems more user friendly with all the options along the side. Also how you can hold your mouse over a thumbnail and it will give you a preview without having to click on a photo and wait for it to load is a nice feature.

Nice photos. Beautiful place where you live.

I prefer the new version but find the buttons used to navigate through the images a bit confusing. Their placement makes sense but not all the symbols used make sense.

that's a fair comment skyler and I agree with you, I think the most confusing one is the play button at the end so I may consider getting rid of this one and leaving just the forward and reverse buttons

Thanks for the critique
