Here in Orange Co., California at the Bowers Museum, there is an exhibit of 75 black and white images by renowed landscape photographer Ansel Adams.

The exhibit is titled, "Ansel Adams: Classic Images"

There is also a series of related lectures on Ansel's work at the museum.

Also at the museum, along with Ansel Adams, is the Mummy exhibit.

"Mummies: Death and the Afterlife in Ancient Egypt ...Treasures from the British Museum"

in mar 2005 there was a contest on ansel adams photography, there are many great works in that contest, may be the moment for another contest on that style.
