Welcome to the 50's - it's cool actually!
Nothing like getting the looks when people say you are probably 40-42, then hit em with the "I'm 50".

Happy Birthday. And "50 is the new 40", as they say. ;-)
Although, when I turned 39 in January my 5 y/o said I was now "old like a grandpa" ... so I'm not sure how well that fares for when I'm 50. Heh.

the thing about turning 50 is this:
it's alright to be a fool at 25 or 40. A fool at 50 is less tolerable, although, I admit,
it feels refreshing.

Well, happy birthday Ralph. I just turned over 60 not long ago myself, and I must say it wasn't as painful as I'd expected. You got a few good years ahead of you :-)
