I have been in business officially for a little over a year now. I have a "cookie cutter" website that has been ok but I want to upgrade. I'm ready to look more professional. I Love photography but when it comes to computers and websites I'm lost. I see all these gorgeous photography webpages but I'm clueless as to how to get started. Can anyone point me in the right direction? TIA!!!

you can buy Flash Professional 8 and build it yourself the way YOU want it.
you can buy a tamplate, e.g. here
and customise it - that's what I did on my website.
you can also pay someone to build a site for you - it is expensive.
I prefer simple but flash sites when it comes to photography - but it's only me. I think photos are more protected and look better in a flash gallery.

i always thought the best place to build a webpage was the internet ;}

| Blu Domain has really fantastic site templates you can buy (starting at $500 me thinks) and edit yourself. Joey Lawrence is using one of the more expensive ones but they have a pretty nice range. |

The internet's a great place to showcase a webpage, but I prefer building on my hard drive. ;)

if you have disk problem then you can also try using //www.googlepages.com.
e.g. //pandit.girish.googlepages.com
this requires you to have gmail account if you dont have one, I can give you one, i have around 98 left in my account to give :) |
