The HD in my Sony Vaio laptop seems to be failing. So, I'm looking to replace it.

Other than E-bay, where is a good source to find a new drive, fairly inexpensively?

Newegg has good prices. I just upgraded my wifes laptop drive for a larger one - you might want to consider picking up a cheap enclosure as well to make transferring your old stuff to the new drive easier.

Depends on your definition of inexpensive, but I turn to Tiger for most computer stuff...

I would go with Newegg or tigerdirect. Both really good reliable stores to order from.... Dont buy a HD from ebay I did that and it died a couple of months later. I went ahead and got a Seagate 120GB HD from circuity city. It was on sale and still works just fine in my powerbook.

The computer currently has a 20GB drive in it and I don't store info on it very often (just temporarily), so I don't need anything huge.

As a matter of fact, it doesn't have any "data" on it at all right now.

Now, if I can figure out HOW to get to the HD on it... LOL.

NewEgg, OWComputing, CostCentral or Transintl.com.
