I have more weddings (at least on certain days) that I can shoot - so I am looking for a lead shooter that can at times work as a second shooter. I don't need an assistant (I have one of those), but a person that can shoot, pose and knows what to do. I am willing to do some training so we are both comfortable with what needs done.

You would shoot and burn to CD the hi-res JPGs, color corrected and exposure balanced (proofs if you will). I'll get the clients and do the albums, etc. You get to do the fun part!

I am located in the Pittsburgh Area of PA.

Pay....I want to pay as little as possible of course, and you want as much as possible, of course. So give me some idea of what you expect (perhaps hourly as some weddings are 4, 6, 7 or 8 hours long).

If you're interested let me know, via response here or PM, email, phone - my website has my contact info (see my profile for that link)

If you pay travel on top of hourly rate then I have a few weekends without weddings this year.

:)

Hmmm, can you get to Heathrow and hide in a suitcase?
I have a wedding booked for a weekend in October. My assistant has a friend form HS, living in London for the past 4 years, that is coming home to get married and wants us to shoot it - and he can't convince her to move the date, so I have a situation - too much work and too few photographers!

I've also turned away 3 or 4 weddings for dates I have booked - some dates every year are always overly popular. July 28 for one - I have a former coworker in need of my services, but I'm booked.

So there are 2 weddings, and I will probably have more - I have another bridal show on Sunday, and 2 ads running in march and april (got too good a deal to pass up - 1/2 page color and 1/2 page B&W, for a month, for $200 - that's what happend when you shoot the ad guys wedding!)

I want to grow my biz - but need help to do it! Success can be hard some days LOL

Here in PA that is a Saturday!

October 20 is the biggie here. The fall leaves I suppose, and the saturday before is the 13th...unlucky date?
