This is half bragging, half I'm really excited can I please have some tips/pointers fromt he pros?

My bus leaves from Madison to Chicago at 5am on Thursday and my Plane leaves at 12pm.

I'm stoked;
One: because I'm going to NY for two days (i have never been)
Two: I don't have to pay anything
Three: I'm getting paid

Why?, to shoot this band

I guess for some people this is same old, same old. However, for me, this is a first in a lifetime kind of deal.
The best part is all the members in the band are awesome guys, and we basically just get to hang out in the recording studio and peoriodically travel around and shoot.

That's great news Elmakias. They have obviously chosen you because they like your work....just go with the flow...find out what they are all about and what they like and what they liked about your work and just keep taking photos. You will soon settle in and start to see what you want.

Congratulations! Your concert\live portfolio is great, so I am sure you won't have any problems with this shoot (although I understand it is going to be a little different than shooting a concert).
I can't give you tips, because I haven't shot a band, but if you need tips on NY, then I can help :)
Good luck!

Good luck man, and as said before, just go with the flow of things. Shoot lots and then shoot more. Make sure you have enough memory for this trip, if not, when you get to NY go to B&H. Most of all, have faith in yourself, you do good work and should have no problems with this. Enjoy.
