A few weeks ago I shot my first wedding as THE photographer - I've done a few for friends before but always with some other photographers.
I'm pretty happy with the results and thought I would share a few of my favorites with you all.
and of course there are the normal group photos, exchange of rings, kissing the bride and all that as well but that happens every wedding and you probably don't want/need to see them.
Ok, and one in color, just because it was a beautiful day and the dresses and sky were amazing.

Congrats on the wedding. My favorite is the one in color, but because I figure when the bride goes to all that trouble picking out the colors for her wedding, I better show them off in all their glory.
That first one is funny though... makes ya wonder why they're looking down there!
Nice "detail shots". And the one with motion blur ... added bonus! :-)

I agree that the color is good - of the 600 photos I gave them about 100 were b/w. I've reprocessed these ones for my portfolio and have been experimenting with the hue/sat method of b/w conversion mixed with a few other methods - I'm still not convinced about some of them but it's been a while since I uploaded anything...
Generally I think that b/w works better for the candid photos - the formal photos really need to be color

I think you did a great job! Very creative photos. Love the spontaneity. Very nice black and whites. I agree with dwterry about the color. |
