I understand that the clone tool is mainly to take out distractions.

Things unwanted in the image.

what about personal ID stuff.

I have an image that has a vehicle in it. The vehicle is street legal meaning it has a license plate.

Can I clone out one or two numbers on the plate so as to keep my ID secret from anyone savvey enough to look it up.

Need to know.

Seeing some of the big things that have been cloned out in advanced I would imagine something as small as a license plate could be cloned out. Did you ask SC?
