I like the idea of the 24 hour challenges. Its a fun thing to do around the holidays, easter, halloween, whatever. I think its a fun idea. This may have been proposed before, but what do you guys think of shooting one day and having all of the next day to submit? Is that way out of line? If I attended a fun halloween party, got some good shots, chances are not likely that I'll be rushing home to submit a picture, and probably not in the right "frame of mind" to effectively edit the photo properly.
With more holidays around the corner, I'm not sure how much I'll be home. I don't think we really lose anything by making the submission period one extra day. I reckon a lot of folks will be visiting relations and such during the holiday season. Its just a thought, and maybe one that has been brought up a couple times. It's crossed my mind the past couple of days so I thought I'd bring it up.
So what do you folks think?

I like the idea.
I would also like to propose (once again) that we have a speed challenge that DOESN'T coincide with a holiday. Those days are already the busiest of the year, and I think a challenge that surprises everyone would be more fun, rather than having everyone anticipating the challenges on holidays now....
I mean, it's not really a speed challenge if I'm already thinking up Valentine's Day ideas in November, is it? |
