I have been researching these two programs, and I have read that elements has 98% of the photo editing tools of photoshop, for the money difference and the performance of the tools which is the best program that would produce the best results ..thanks...

PS Elements - Budget version of the full Photoshop.Free with some cameras/wacom tablet, etc. Once you learn Elements you can easily use Photoshop.
PhotoShop - The standard in Graphic Design.Tough for the beginner but is the industry standard.
Paint Shop Pro - A competent and affordable alternative to Photoshop.Easy to use for the beginner.
The terms "Photoshopping", "Photoshopped" means manipulated digitally. It's the slang used if any post-production software is used.
So many photo editing programs out there right now. Use which ever is most comfortable to you.
I used Ulead Photo Express for a long time before moving to PS Elements.

Have a look at the above two links. I have not tried hiddenelements myself but heard that it adds all kind of plug-ins to photoshop elements so it becomes almost equal to photoshop..... at a fraction of the price.
fo me the main difference between PS and PSE is the curve tool, which is not in standard PSE, but can be added by hiddenelements. |
