about 6 months ago I took and edited this photo which I liked at the time but since then I didn't like it so much (read not at all) so I re-edited it with the stuff I have learned in the last 6 months. Did I do better( I like it but then again i liked the other one back then) and is there anything I could do different. Crystal thinks the color of the sky looks weird but I kinda liked it.

Hey Elvis,
I think that you have some great elements in both versions, but there are also some issues with each as well. I agree with Crystal, the color seems to have a yellow hue, especially in the sky. I far prefer the sky in the first one, but I really like the sand dune toning and lightness in the new one. I think put them together and see what you come uo with.

I would not want to hurt your feelings, but to be honest I can't say I like any of the versions presented, as I find the colours rather harsh and overly saturated.

...but like anything else, tastes are personal and to each his/her own.

I wouldn't necessarily say better, just different. Each as it's own feel, and I agree with Eric in saying a combination in-between the two may be better.
