A pic for Valentine's Day. This is a sculpture based on the famous picture Alfred Eisenstadt took in Times Square when the Japanese surrender marked the end of WWII. It is 25 feet tall and weighs 6000 pounds. It is on display for the next year by the historical USS Midway aircraft carrier which is now a floating museum in San Diego.

I actually like this version better, with the clouds framing them, but I think the people in the first one give you scale as to the size of the sculpture. I guess it comes down to showing a better picture or telling the story of the scuplture.
