Would anyone be interested in a challenge titled "Snow" or "Winter"? There seems to be a lot of it up here in the northern states. Especially Colorado and New York. |

how many challenges are there that do not allow submissions from half of the site members?
(it's a real question. are there some?) |

Here in the Southern UK, we're lucky if we get one decent snowfall in winter and this winter's has been and gone. Last week Thursday in fact, hence the reason for a new snow pic on my portfolio. I was out there till my fingers were so cold I couldn't use the controlls on my camera and I couldn't feel my feet anymore. Felt like I was walking on little stumps! It was a good day though! Wish it would happen more often. |

Look at all those great challenges like "Street photography" and "Wildlife". Yes, they can be done in the winter but they are far more difficult for people who live where there is heavy snow.
It's many times hard to use photo's that have snow in them because the keep getting mistaken for blown highlights. |

Well I guess they could make it an exclusive open challenge, with the other one being summer. That way nobody would really be left out.

The beauty of the dual challenges - What about one for winter/snow and another for summer/sand :-))
Edit: Busted, Clearly I don't read so good; already mentioned the post above :-))

Good idea. I like it! :) Maybe even the four seasons, just to cover everybody.

I would rather see something like a year long quadtych. One from the exact same spot of all four seasons. It would be fun.
