I thought this was very cool.. for $9 you can have your own handwriting converted into a font. I think it would be great for personal emails, invitations, blogs, etc.....

That's really cool. I'll have to look into it. Heck, for $9, what do I have to lose?

i once created a font with my own hand writing with the old, write on paper, scan, clip out make sure everything matched.... and so on..

wrote some emails to people, thinking it was a cool font. Only to realize they need my font installed on their computer to read the email. Makes it not too usefull. :(

You need a program called FontCreator ($79) to do this, so it's not exactly free..........

Actually, it said it was free an fully functional for 30 days, then you had to buy it. So you could probably use it and then just never buy when the trial period was up.

oh man, I already did this once, but I did it by hand, and with a much harder to use program. It took a good 10 hours to finish. This looks pretty nice. This is missing a whole lot of characters on the template though.

My handwriting is print. There are a number of fonts signing checks for me already...

I'm a big fan of handwriting fonts, my favorite is called (oddly enough) JPhand. Interestingly, I had no hand (hahaha) in the creation of said font, I I-found it. It was fate brought us together.
