One question, though, since I don't know much about RSS from the implementation side. Is there a way to support authentication? I ask because such a feed would need to list different threads depending on whether the requester is a Guest/Registered User, Member, or Site Council.

Whoops, just saw this. A list of topics, yeah. On its own, RSS doesn't support authentication, so what you need to do isn't possible as such. There's lots of talk about RSS authentication though, but that doesn't help of course. :) Maybe you could just offer a feed of all the open forums. |
