I haven't had time to shoot anything lately, but I got some time with my little friend Kadean this afternoon at a small playground and took the camera along. This is my favorite shot of the day, critiques are welcome.

Bump cuz I've been photo deprived lately and I'm bored with cleaning my apartment already.

I think its a great shot with super tones but you don't need all the bright white space and chains and cars and houses etc etc etc. I think you should crop it on the inside edge of the large post and make HIM more of the subject than all the rest.

Whatcha think?

... just inside the LEFT edge of the post that is ...

That's a great idea! Never even crossed my mind... I was too busy being awed by the little guys smile! ROFL

How you like this crop?

You could even take more distraction from him by cropping along the top of his hood and getting that SUPER bright white square OUTTAH THEYAH too.

:)

Hmm, here's my re-edit. I like this cropping better, though one of the things I like about the original crop is that you can see how deep the snow still is here in Denver, almost two months after the blizzards.

Yeah well that got rid of a LOT of clutter and put him in the spotlight MUCH more!

One can appreciate the nice tones you captured there much better now.

:)
