| new to the forum, new to printing photos off my computer...Im using elements 4.0 and an epson r2400 and cant get the color to match up. Im getting a far too red hue than what is showing on my monitor. what can i do? |

Red hue?
Either one of these
1. You got the wrong profile for the paper you are using or have not the good paper settings. (maybe but...)
2. The way you sent the print job to the printer you don't have any color management to help the printer match what you see on the screen. (unlikely but possible)
3. The way you sent the print job you convert the image colors twice before printing EG. in photoshop print with preview/let photoshop manage the dolors/printer properties/profile applied by printer (most likely!!)
This is of course assuming that your monitor IS profiled and that you HAVE the good profile for your printer/ink/paper combination. |
