Pipes froze in my house, causing my to lose my entire recording studio, my computer, and alot of camera gear. Insurance is paying for it all, but I figure the better deals and less I spend, the more I can put towards alien bees and a Gretsch White Falcon.
Anyways, I need a pretty decent monitor, as I am a photo student. What's your opinion?

| I would seriously look at the 20" WS monitors over the 19" WSs. They run totally different resolutions. They do cost a bit more but it is worth it in my opinion. |

| Aside from an inch, what's the advantage? I don't know all that much about monitors and what I really should be looking for. I know contrast ratio and refresh time, and that's about it. I know I want something that I can callibrate with ease, so it has to be able to have brightness, contrast, and gamma adjustments. |
