YAY, it's here!!! It arrived late yesterday so I had to wait till today to play with it. The temperature with wind chill was about 10F today so maybe not the best day to try to find wildlife, even at the zoo (where most of them stayed sensibly in their heated indoor enclosures). Found some wild ducks and a woodpecker there, and the pandas were out, so I got some idea of how much I WILL like this lens. Shot everything handheld today; will try with a tripod on another day.
I did very little with these since I was trying to get an idea of how the lens does without processing help.

Not bad for handheld. Just think of what you will get with a tripod. If you like walking around quite a bit you can also try a monopod, it helps but not quite as much as a tripod.
