Here is my dilemma, many times when I take pictures of an event I want to upload them. However it is a lot of work re-sizing and processing potentially hundreds of photos.

I am wondering if anyone knows of a quick tool for re-sizing and uploading for the web?

Suggestions?

Does your editing software have batch processing?

I have Photoshop. And while it does have batch processing I find it rather cumbersome.

Not only is it rather sluggish (this on a 2gig CoreDuo w/2gigs of RAM), I am then left needing to create thumbnails and a template. It'd be nice to find a tool to handle this.

Not saying that there isn't something out there to do this for you but can't you use an action to create the thumbs?

Also, if you use the same template all the time, you only have to create it once. Using photoshop's web gallery tool will create the thumbs and web size images for you. You can customize one of the provided templates to match what you want.

Regarding PhotoShop Web Gallery...

The options with "feedback", how exactly do these work. There does not seem to be a place to put a password. So it seems anyone can "authorize" feedback or remove it. This doesn't make sense to me.

Sure wish PS offered a preview too...

Anyone know how he "feedback" works? is there a password protection? etc?

I've never used the feedback functionality so would be interested the answers regarding this as well.

There's no password protection for the templates with feedback options. Looks like these templates are designed for backend use or where a client gets a password to a directory.
