Any suggetions on the exposure for this photo? Pls excuse the composition... I was more concerned with the exposure and my little "models" were getting frustrated with me. Thanks, T <><

The exposure seems about right ... maybe a fill flash would have looked a bit better as it would have taken out some of the shadows especially in the face of the girl in back. A touch more contrast and a tighter crop to show only the tree behind them and not all that other clutter would help too?

I took the liberty to crop, dodge, sharpen and make this image a bit more contrasty and sharpened the eyes of the girl in the back to show you what I meant. It is, of course, from your low res image so is not beautiful but I wanted to show you a bit of what you could do with photoshop.

The main point is the crop, which I think makes it less of a snapshot and more of a portrait photograph.

Thanks! That looks much better! I'm not really familiar with dodging yet. I have Elements 3.0. I've seen the feature, but haven't tried it out yet! As far as the resolution... I'm not really sure why it came out like that. Usually the photo quality is much better.
