I had to do some more. I think I am addicted. It was not too comfortable but the excitement took the edge off my early morning stroll this morning.

Here are the results ...

Dude your gonna wear HDR out before we can even do it with a single in camera exposure (special sensor being developed).

I have a feeling your gonna be doing all HDR all the time lol.

They had this idiot kid on Top Chef every dish he made had a foam on it lol. Eveery show they rediculed him for it. He finally quit doing it lol.

But keep i tup i guess have fun with it. If its expressing what you see or your passion thats good!

I like frosty morning 6 the best.

- This is the best of the bunch IMO. It would be even stronger if you had used a graduated ND filter to tone down the sky a little.

Must have been a still morning, doesn't appear to be *any* branch movement :-)
How many exposures did you combine for each of those, and which software (Photomatix?)

- I kind of liked this one also, except that I thought the branches in the upper area were too blurred (wind movement?). :P

Nice work. How many exposures did you take? What were your settings on each? Can you give me a one shot example?

All were the same ... 7 frames ... EV +3 +2 +1 0 -1 -2 -3 ...

Here is the EV 0.0 shot of Frosty Morning VI ...

glad2badad ... I agree with you 100% ... I am going to play at burning in the sky gently on a couple of these.

Edit: OK ... burnt in the sky a bit and like it much better ... thanks glad.

Ok gang...I tried a landscape shot at sundown
...shot raw 3, 2, 1, 0 -1, -2, -3

Went to HDR in photoshop...yada yada yada...it say not enought dynamic range in photos to complete...

The range is very different...from almost all black to almost all white...

Any info to help?

From 1 RAW or 7? If 1 you need to save each exposure without the EXIF or PS, thinking it's being clever, reads the exif and sees them as the same.

I only get that message when I try with the same shot with the same exif even if I save it with major different contrast and/or brightness.

I don't know diddley about raw. My camera doesn't shoot in raw. As soon as I give it jpgegs with different exposures off it goes. I don't remove the exifs.

So you have one jpg...how do you get the range? Levels...curves...?

no I have seven jpegs as stated above ...

I only got that error mentioned when I tried to take one picture and save it with a bunch of different brightness settings (back once upon a time) ... but I do my HDR shots with 7 jpegs each with a different exposure ... +3 to -3 in 1 full EV steps.
