I don't know who was it among the Site Council that foud the head of a human being as edible (or maybe it was the two small carrots on the side)but my pic was disqualifed

it is rather pity that they didn't understand the sence of humor in the pic more then sticking to their rule (must be an americn way of thinking)
Well to bad, some of the photographers here are doning really nice stuff and I will return to the site to look at their work but will not take part in anything (after all i like a bit of fun)

Did they actually say it was Food, or did they DQ it because it was SICK AND DISTURBING?
I just read the part about the carrots.... now that was ur own fault.

| Your entry showed something considered edible (carrots, parsley, etc.). That was against the rules for this challenge. |

I can't see the picture, only the [thumb] codes.
Even tho I agree that the rules were very clear about the no food thing, so the dq should be expected, I'm curious about the photo ???

The Image is "pre" final DQ'd. I dunno what else to call it. It was DQ'd before voting was over menaing its no longer in voting, it will not show up when voting is finished. And it is not in the users portofolio.
In order for us to see it he has to upload it to DPC again. |

I did read the rules but honstly when u look at the picture does it bring your sence of appetite or just a smile for a funny pic (never mind how good or bad it is)

i don't mean to be adversarial or offensive ... but when you start interpreting the rules based on sense of humour, then you're entering very fuzzy territory.
the rules stated "nothing edible by humans" ... i appreciate you may have added carrots to be humorous, but that's still against the rules. making an exception for you opens up a pandora's box of exceptions to every challenge. which defeats the purpose of having rules at all.
i've been DQed before and i know it hurts. but we have to suck it up and accept it ...
keep submitting for challenges ... don't let one DQ be end of your contributions. if you're angry, then just walk away for a few days ... think about it all ... then submit something for the next challenge.
take it easy dude ... :o)

That's because it's an active challenge still in voting stage. Try posting one of your active challenge images - it shouldn't let you. Although the other day I did see someone post to a forum their own photo (from Personification challenge) and it did show up. Hmmm? Maybe Landgon fixed that?

I can direct link to the image by the voting URL, or even by the URL of the file on the server however. You cant get to his image at all right now.

If i put the XXXXXX as my images number i can see it that way and you can too. But i cant see his because of the DQ of course.
