This is my first try at theatre pics. I only had a few minutes and could not seem to get my settings correct. I was shooting in manual, should I have been shooting in P,S,or A. The lighting was very low in the theatre. Please help.

I know these are not great but I am asking for help on camera settings for the next time. Should I be in full manual mode or should I use P,S,or A.
