I have a $30 bestBuy giftcard burning a hole in my pocket, and this week Bestbuy has the Graphire4 tablet on sale for $74...so my cost would be $44...
it's the 4x5 tablet, wireless pen and mouse and includes corel Painter Essentials 2 - I've seen 3 for $90-100...

Anyone have this tablet and what do you think?
Anyone used Painter Essentials? I hear painter is good, but it's $400+, I've heard nothing about the essentials version.

There are a lot of threads here discussing the Wacom tablets. They're all awesome, but some people still find them useless, don't know why hehe..

Painter is a cool software, if you specifically want to do that kind of manipulation. I would say with a little bit of extra work, Photoshop can be used to do what Painter does.
