HERE ARE MY FINAL 2 OPTIONS!:

I think the black one looks funkier but the white one looks more professional.
I still think you need some space between your phone number and your email address to balance out and make it more eye-pleasing but that might just be me.
BTW ... I always thought that there is something special about a business card without caps if done right and it seems to really work here ... You gonna have a classy card, guy.

I don't understand the question ...
ah yes ... on the black one ... well ... white OR black, I think it will stand out even more if separated by a bit of a space from your phone number is what I was trying to say ...

I really like the white one ... it looks more professional ... but the black one is funky too ... maybe you could do both and give the black one to bands and the white one to everyone else?

A good printer should print better than you see on your monitor.
I suspect something amiss.
You could go into your printer settings and crank up the DPI for better resolution?

I think you should take your files to a shop ... it is not that expensive and if you don't like em ... their garbage can owns them and you don't owe them a cent? ...
LOL ... just an idea ...

Did you tell your printer it had photo paper when you printed it on cards?
If not ... try that ... your printer might default to 300 to 600 dpi if you tell it that it is printing on photo paper.

I would put the card stock in and tell it that it is printing to matte photo paper ... and see how it looks.
I gotta run now ... good luck ... send me an email via Greetmir@yahoo.com to let me know how it works out ...
Gone to try to capture some sunrise HDR pics ... I am excited about it.

so yeah i just confirmed its the paper not the printer/word. i used a sheet and printed on it with photoshop as matte photo paper and got same result. doyou think printed on high grade thick paper and cutting it myself would be fine? |

No offense, but this card doesn't convey anything about you being a photographer to me...it says graphic artist at best.
You've got some really cool images, don't be afraid to use them! Stick one of them on your card so that when people look at your card they are reminded of your photographic style? Try the pic of Darci in the alley...you've got some good space to put in your info (and less is more in that regard).

I agree with nheilweil on the graphic artist part. Why don't you use something like this:
and design around it?? Or, like was suggested above, use darcy in the alley?? It would surely showcase your skills a bit better :) |
