Hi,
I'm photographing a bal this evening, and i should figure out how my flashes work...
I made a bracket so that i have 3 flashes mounted to the camera (for extra light - the ceilings are tall).
2x SB-800
1x SB-600
The first is connected directly to the camera (on top), and the 2 others are connected in series to the first flash, using 2x AS-E900 hot shoes.
Does anyone know whether TTL will still work in this scenario on all flashes? My tests seem to indicate that it doesn't. Anyone know how to set it up?
Also, how can i make all the flashes change their Manual intensity setting together? If i put them all in manual mode, i have to change their setting individually... anyone know a way around that?
Thanks

Can you not put one of the SB-800's in wireless master mode and just use it to trigger the other flashes? That way you should be able to only have to set up the first flash and it will then control and trigger the others. Not sure about this as it's Nikon and well, I don't have one of them, but just a thought.
