I hope that earlier post are true that it is not life threatening. I also believe there is a lot of self-help we can do for ourselves. That's easy to say but probably hard to accept when you bear the pain. Stop reading about pain, photography is better.
Humor and Laughter is also a good medicine, along with physical activity if capable and advisable. All three of us send our best wishes and prayers to you. Just grab the bull by the horns, and stay away from tomatoe throwing.
