Just wanted to say thanks to all the comments and votes. Yup...this image is a DNMC as it didn't fill the frame...but would never have the same impact if it was cropped. Sometimes you gotta be out of the box to be inside the box but you have to remember that being inside the box isn't always the way it should be.
Get outside the box...and live life.
Now to shut my big mouth!

6th place and I counted only about 5 of 58 comments that indicated DNMC, so I would say that the uniqueness and quality of the shot way overshadowed the arguably subjective DNMC issue.
Well done and congrats on 6th! No editing steps? People wanna know. :) |

"A combination of images of the same pose but with different parts in focus then blended. A mixture of Transform tool and Liquefy to extend certain areas a little more...then the usual PP tools to bring the image up a little more in quality." |

Judi, that shot is awesome! I'm one of the favs on it. Was my top pick for the challenge. For me, fill the frame doesn't mean you have to be all the way out to every edge :-) Kinda like, a full glass isn't usually all the way up to the brim, you'd spill! but it's still full!
And that's some expert editing!

Hahahaha...yes Kita thinks the shot is funny. Mind you...there are much more embarassing shots of her than this one..and she will be the first one to tell you that 'she was born a chatterbox and will die a chatterbox'! |

I loved this cartoonish photo. I would have given you 10, but there were no boobies! So, I gave you a humble 9.
Great shot! |
