Is a glass or plate "normally considered edible by humans"?

if it has just been used it may have some signs of food, or in the case of a beer glass, may be some froth

I'd say anything goes except bad food.

Actually, if there is anything edible in your image you'll get DQ.

"Extra Rules: Photographs showing anything normally considered edible by humans as shown will result in a DQ."

That doesn't say "anything that is edible" it says "anything normally considered edible by humans" big difference.

I hate to be a bore, but food that is bad, is no longer food, and is definitely not normally considered edible by humans.

Not sure I'd risk that DQ. It will be up to SC though, to decide what is really "normally considered edible by humans". I'm going with something safe - like mountains or cars or people (can't say specifically what I shot, but its NOT normally considered edible....... ).

To some cultures, humans are normally considered edible, ergo, no pictures of humans! That's a stretch. Almost willing to bet that the ribboning photos are of people!

I agree, I was just making a point, I took a bad hair shot of my doughter in tha garden, then I noticed the chery tree in the background, so what about the background, mind you don't get any thing like animals, trees that may have fruet or nuts, or a corn field.

People? Watch out for DQ here too: People can be edible (either by canibals or in the ferocity of the corporate world) - that's not so uncommon... :-P

Yeah, there was some discussion earlier in the thread where an SC member said he WOULD look at background items, etc.
