i bought my $1200 out of an impulse one day..

should i have bought a more expensive better one?

or is pentax okay?

That's a great camera :) Pentax makes good stuff.

Do you like it? Does it have the features you want/need? Does it feel good in your hands? That's all that matters.

Now go shoot some stuff and show us what you can do with it :)
