DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!

Y'all are being a little hard on poor Shannon, don't you think? To tell you the truth, the "resize once" thing didn't even register when I read the rules until I saw this thread. I do recall a lot of discussion of how many time you could sharpen but nothing about resizing.

Sorry about the DQ, Shannon, but you seem to have made a whole lot of people downright giddy, so I suppose that's a plus in an odd sort of way....

P.S. Deb's method for minimal editing rules:
1) Copy file (actually, I may have forgotten this part but I have the original RAW file!)
2) Open
3) Resize to maximum allowable pixel size on long side
4) Save
I just skipped the sharpening part altogether. :-)

I'm just teasing Shannon, Deb. No harm meant. :)

Oh, I know that. I suppose I neglected my "giggling behind my hand while typing" smilie thingie... I have no idea what that looks like.

Dang Shannon, that's gotta suck. I was trying to think of a smartass remark for you, but there's nothing I can say that Cindi hasn't said already. :-)

Well, to err is human. At least we finally know the truth. Shannon is indeed human!

Oops, just got back to this thread... Shannon, you're a doofus!

Ah, there, that's better. :-) Thanks Cindi!

*Just watch his show and you'll know he's proud to be a beaner. Don't shoot the messenger.

My camera can be set to shoot both RAW and jpeg. That's the way I always have it set as it is. The shot I entered is indeed the jpeg.
