Hi,
I've recently heard that DPC is not the only digital photography contest website (I didn't know that before, sorry if people found it shocking =) ).

I found it really good that other communities exist, really good for digital photography, and the different opinions communities could have regarding the same shot.

Anyway, this is my question: I'm wondering if the concept of digital photography contest websites is copyrighted, or reserved?

Thanks!

Interesting question, but I really doubt there is a way to copyright a contest. That would be like saying your local high school couldn't run a 50-50 drawing at their sporting events because the high school down the road does the same thing.

I could be completely wrong though, and if someone was able to copyright a photography contest I'm envious of that person because s/he could really make a ton of money off of it. haha
