Managed to get some photos as I walked home last night and as it was getting dark and I was going to be working fairly slowly with a tripod I thought I should start learning to use raw. While the workflow is a nightmare right now I can certainly understand why people use it. The DR is really so much higher than I'm used to and at night, when exposure is hard to judge, that little extra bit of latitude provides an excellent/dangerous substitute for skill.

In any case I'll be using it a little more often.

Oh, and sorry about the slightly skewy tower, my tripod is a cheap POS and won't lock level. Also a bit of distortion from the lens.
