Hello DPC, it's been a while since I have been active on this site, so there will be alot of you who don't know me, but here goes anyway.
My name is Dan, and I am a new Daddy! On January 5/07, my wife and I were sent on an emergency flight to the nearest city (which is an 8.5 hour drive away) and on January 6/07 my wife gave birth to our new 4 lb.baby girl, Hayley... who showed up 7 weeks early!
They both had to stay in the hospital for almost 3 weeks, but we finally got to bring our new bundle of joy home this passed Thursday. I really can't express how happy and excited we both are.
Both Mom and Hayley are both doing excellent, with the baby gaining weight by the day. She has no health problems, she's just a little small.
While she was in the hospital, I flew back home so I could drive back to the city in our vehicle. This way I could bring them home myself.
While we waited around for her to be released from the hospital, I managed to find a great camera dealer where I purchased a new Canon 30D to go along with my brand new Canon 24-70mm 2.8L lens. Yep, I broke the bank LOL.
Anyway, you will most definately be seeing a bunch of baby pictures over the next month, so let this be a warning to you all :)
