Isn't it funny how boobs sidetrack a thread? So sorry, Rob.
Back to best-friend chat. I'm sure you'll miss hangin' with your bud; but hey, more time to shoot! lol

If she does not want the old one, she could give me. I am collecting them. |

But look at it this way, at least you'll now have a cool new place to visit and take fabulous photos! 8o) |
One woman here also does not want to talk to me anymore. Apparantly I was too nice to her. She does not like that.
People are max arbit logic to do what they want to do. |

boobs? Did somebody say boobs? where the boobs at?... I wish all threads ended by someone bringing up a boob-job. That would make this site perfect i think. |

hows this for a 'moving away'....My fiance has been trying to call his daughter all last week to tell her we set the date and are getting married on April 7th...(she lives about 3 hrs from here)....Anyways, she called HIM last night....before he could say anything she says, "Dad guess what, I bought a one-way ticket to Ireland, I'm moving April 3rd!" She never even hinted at the thought of moving out of the State let alone Country...total surprise...Her father is soooo mad. She suggested that we change the wedding date....HE refused. He says 'if she wants to be here she'll change her flight'
Its a test that I think he is going to lose...

all my friends and my parents are 8000 km from me.
my best friend has just got a boy. I haven't seen her for 2 years.
another friend is getting married. I haven't seen her for 3 years.
I hadn't seen my kitty for 3 years before she passed away last may.
I will never see her again. she had been living with us for 20 years.
life goes on.
and yes, good friends are precious. but everyone goes away. me too. |

A one way ticket to Ireland sounds like a serious move. Your fiance may lose on this one! Hope wedding plans haven't gone too far to change. She sounds adventurous. |

I think you are right, he's gonna lose. We are going to talk about it more tomorrow, HE is stressing that he won't change his plans for her inconsideration. I have to make sure he REALLY feels that way and won't regret it. Actually all the plans are set except the sending the invites...its a small affair but still all the details are in motion.
I guess his point is, its not like she didn't know we were planning. We had been planning on July then moved it up to April due to other issues......If we were still getting married in July, she would be gone, without consideration from her....so should we now when she didn't plan on being her then??? I think the hardest thing is she will miss it by 4 days.

If she has booked her ticket, I can see where it would be too expensive for her to change it. He is dealing with the shock of losing his daughter to Ireland and not having her share your special day. Maybe you could have some special celebration that would include her before she leaves. Don't let this spoil your big day...Look on the bright side, you'll have a great vacation spot and picture taking opportunity when you go visit her in Ireland!
I just made a donation to Team Rebecca. Hope I did it correctly. It's a wonderful cause and I wish her well. My aunt is another example of the wonderful advancements that are made every day in heart research. She had one of the very first heart surgeries and wasn't expected to live to age 30. She just celebrated her 65 birthday, four heart surgeries and 35 years later. Good luck reaching your goal. |
