A few days ago I came across a tutorial on how to do a nifty pseudo-3D effect that makes the subject look extruded from the background partly by doing a distortion on the background. I can't find it now, if anyone knows what I'm talking about and could link it, I'd appreciate it. I'm already going through the history on the 4 computers it could have been on but I can't seem to find it there, and it had an oddball name.
